We are a modern, Christian-oriented hospital group operated by a foundation, consisting of three hospitals and several medical centers.
St. Josefs-Hospital Wiesbaden offers 17 medical specialties with approximately 530 beds. Each year, more than 1,800 employees provide inpatient care for 25,000 patients.
We work closely with our subsidiaries: the Otto-Fricke-Hospital, located primarily in Bad Schwalbach, an acute care specialty hospital for geriatrics and conservative orthopedics with around 176 beds, and St. Josefs-Hospital Rheingau in Rüdesheim am Rhein, an acute care facility offering basic and standard medical care with about 140 beds.
We are looking for a
Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Full-time, starting as soon as possible
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the management and take responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations across the group’s facilities.
- Organize, plan, and assist in the preparation of forecasts, monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and KHBV, and consolidate them.
- Share responsibility for the group’s entire payment transactions (monitoring of proper payment processes, cash management).
- Independently prepare liquidity reports and develop a group-wide financial reporting system.
- Contribute to the organizational and content-related development of the department and participate in strategic transformation processes within the group.
- Be open to taking on additional business-related special tasks.
- Collaboration with other departments is an essential part of your role.
Your Profile:
- You hold a degree in economics with a focus on finance/auditing/taxation, or you have a comparable commercial qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing/tax consulting.
- You demonstrate an analytical, structured, and independent working style, coupled with excellent communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills complete your profile.
- Experience in non-profit organizations or the hospital/healthcare sector is desirable.
- You are motivated to take on a varied and responsible role within a dynamic, skilled, and dedicated team.
- You show a high level of commitment and flexibility in your work.
