Specialist Physicians or Physicians in the Public Health Service (m/f/d)
Job Description
The Public Health Service adopts a social-medical approach to the general demands of the working world and the individual health conditions of those examined.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct medical assessments in accordance with social and civil service law, as well as for courts and other clients, occasionally including home visits.
- Issue medical certificates and official health reports.
- Contribute to the Public Health Office’s cross-functional tasks (e.g., health promotion and prevention).
- Participate in the on-call duty of the office.
Your Profile
- Completed specialist medical training, preferably in public health, general medicine, occupational medicine, trauma surgery, or internal medicine, or a medical license with relevant professional experience in inpatient and/or outpatient patient care, ideally with experience in the aforementioned specialties.
- Knowledge of social and civil service law is an advantage.
- Familiarity and experience with medical assessments are beneficial.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Social and intercultural competence.
- Proof of measles immunity or willingness to be vaccinated (applicable to those born on or after January 1, 1971).
